Playgirl Magazine

This is an illustration I just finished for Playgirl Magazine. It seems that my work fits into a very emotional category with this article regarding Female Genital Mutilation. The story focuses on the positive outcome of this brutal surgery that should come to an end. Clitoraid, a non for profit organization, is trying to give all women that have suffered from FGM, reconstructible surgeries. And so, my illustration became a happy reconstructed knitted doll!

Vintage Shopping in Toronto

On a fall day the best thing to do is go vintage shopping. And where else if not in our amazing multicultural and multifaceted Toronto! Here are 4 illustrations showcasing some of the best vintage clothing stores in downtown Toronto. Fashion Weekly and myself picked 4 stores: I Miss You, Gadabout, Cabaret and Thrill of the Find. And of course after a visit to these stores I got inspired and this is what I came up with.


Homemakers Magazine

Homemakers Magazine asked me to illustrate one of their health articles: Can The MS Battle Be Won?
The battle with MS seems to affect more and more Canadian women. Despite this fact, there is good hope for those who suffer from Multiple Sclerosis. New technologies and medication seem to help women coping with this disease and so great memories can still be enjoyed with the loved ones. The quote from the article that inspired me was “giving life back to your body” in an IV form.
